This Pendleton blanket, 64"x80" , Design by Terry "TUKA" Hartman , was made in 2001 as a 10th anniversary TUKA art original design commission. The photos above are only of about one half of the blanket. It is the tribute to the Appaloosa and its breeding by the Nez Perce. The Appaloosa almost became extinct after the Nez Perce wars from , being revived in 1938 by the Appaloosa Club in Moscow, Idaho. This blanket comes with 15 different ly colored wool fibres, is reversible and comes with informatin sheet, packed in the original Pendleton Woolen Mills box. The information sheet is autographed by "TUKA" himself and hand dated 3/30/01. The blanket has never been outside the box other than to take the photos for this listing, it is in original condition from the factory. It has the leather patch denoting the hartman, tuka art exclusive commemorating the Appaloosa originally bred by the Nez Perce, along with the factory tag. (We actually have a blanket with TUKAs autograph on the leather patch , but it is not for sale. ) |
