Up for sale is my pride and joy award winning mask. This mask stands nearly 4ft tall i orignially created this mask in my college art class. This is mask made out of paper machek, chicken wire and wood. I made this mask with one arm at the time due to shattering my left forearm in 2007. This mask won a college art show and also has been displayed at 2 hospitals in the houston area. The theme for this mask was Olmec becuase at the time i was studying ancient forms of art and culture for my art class. I hate to let this mask go cause it has been sitting in my work shop on the wall. But i am making some improvments in the shop and moving stuff in and just no longer have room. I would have donated it back to my college but they were only going to display it for maybe a year then destroy it, and i would rather see it go to a better home. Im starting over with a new auction approach where im starting all my auctions off at $1.00 giving people the chance to get a great deal. Condtion Of Item: Mask is in great condition overall and structuraly the mask its self can hang on the wall with the addition of a few screws and hooks but note from experience it is best to be hung drilled into studs in the wall. There are a few light brown spots at the bottom of the mask that show through just from being bumped during transport from a hospital. From my preference i never had the heart to change it because it to me shows history and time. But if you want to touch up those spots i used a kind of light brown mud color when painting it. The spots arent too noticeable but just in case. Terms Of Auction: Due to recent fraud activity among the ebay community i will not under any circumstances due business outside of ebay. So dont ask. I will not ship before payment has arrived. For this auction i must calculate a total shipping on auction end mainly due to the size and it must be packaged well with care because it is art. but for the U.S. i am expecting it to be about 50.00 for shipping.
